Kansas City, Mo. Jeffery P. Black, age 47, a longtime Kansas City, Mo. resident, passed away at 4:50 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Center in Potosi, Mo. following a lengthy illness. Jeff was born February 26, 1965 in Lake Lotawana, Mo. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Mo. Jeff worked as a fork lift operator for Wagner Industries in Kansas City.

Survivors include his daughter Shelby Black, Laclede, Mo., two brothers, Clovis Black Jr. and wife Cathy, Joplin, Mo., and Danny Black and wife Lea from California.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Seneca Mo. cemetery with Chris Eads and Mark Eads officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
