Jessie Marie Pearson

J. Marie Pearson, at the age of 92 ½ and after many years of declining health, left this earthly home and ascended into her heavenly home on March 3, 2013.

Marie was born on August 26, 1920, the second of five children of Jess and Bernice Day.

She married HAP Pearson on September 26, 1937; he preceded her in death on January 28, 1974. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Virginia Landreth, son-in-law; Gary Landreth, brother; Loren Day, and sisters; Vivian Long Marvin and Irene Lile.

Marie is survived by her daughter; Edna Pearson, brother; M. Gene Day and his wife Grace, grandson; W. Andrew Landreth and his companion Liz, granddaughter; Melissa Landreth Stillions and her husband Doug, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank, Dr. Kimberly Wood, MD, for her many years of professional, caring and compassionate care. We would also like to thank NHC of Joplin, Mo. for the excellent care she was given.

Services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 7, 2013 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel, Jack Jones, will officiate. Burial will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery with Lloyd Bingham, Stacey Zengel, Ryan Zengel, Andy Landreth, Al Hashtroudi and Doug Stillions, serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
