Obituary for Peggy Ruth Frisinger (Garde)
Peggy was born on September 15, 1934 in Joplin, the daughter of Dan and Thelma (Sheffler) Garde. She has been a lifetime area resident, Peggy worked as an administrator for the Chastain Tradition House and the Sarcoxie Nursing Center before retiring in 1997.
She married Neil Frisinger on June 1, 1954, he preceded her in death on June 2, 2002. Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Michael Frisinger. Peggy is survived by two sons; Dan Frisinger and wife Pam of Joplin, Tim Frisinger and wife Patty of Exeter, Mo., two sisters; Frances Tomlinson and Pat Lyscio both of Joplin, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary Chapel. Reverend Johnnie Wilkins, will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday during a time of visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
