Dear Pat and family: Susan and I extend our sincere condolences on the loss of Bob. As you know, Bob was a key member of the Mountain Meadows Monument Foundation, honoring the loss of family members who were killed on September 11, 1857 by Mormon Militia. Bob's tireless work as secretary of the Foundation, as well as his involvement in countless events including reenactment of the return of surviving children to Carrollton, AR, was such a huge contribution to the honor of the fallen. Our hearts go out to you and the family, and will be forever empty with the loss of our friend. God bless Bob's soul. Ron & Susan of Bend, Oregon

Bob was my boss at Empire for about 10 years. he was a great boss a friend and a great guy. I knew him for the 30 years he worked for Empire and we both attended Oklahoma State at the same time. I remember the many times we laughed together. He will be missed by all.
I was deeply saddened to learn of Bob's passing. I was privileged to meet him through our mutual concern for preserving the Mountain Meadows and the memory of the victims of the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Bob was such a wise, kind and caring man. I deeply respected him and valued our friendship. He will be dearly missed. I share my deepest condolences with the Fancher family.
