Around the time frame that I was in junior high and she would have been in high school. There wasn't a lot we did together as we were busy and getting into the teenage years (school, friends, she was starting to drive). There was one thing we could agree on was some late night snacks while watching Nick@Nite or Sci-Fi flicks (she was a huge star trek fan). We might find a marathon to watch or put a VHS of Start Trek to watch. She was always the cook and I am not sure how much butter and salt she put in a pot of rice. Yes, rice and it was odd but she craved it. Then I would try it and it was really good, but I think a little on the yellow side with all the butter (ha ha). I would start to request that when we did these little hangouts because I couldn't make rice taste that good. We would stay up half the night relaxing and watching some shows. It was a nice time to hang out from time to time.
