Heffington
Obituary for John Lee Heffington
John was born in Enola, Ar. to Mary Annie and Marvin Jeffrey Heffington on April 30th, 1932. He married Dana Duffey on February 10th, 1953 in Little Rock, Ar. He worked as a Sauterer for Eagle Picher for 37 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Pleasantview Baptist Church, Derby, Ks.
John is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Annie and his father Marvin Jeffrey Heffington. Also by two brothers, Marvin and Russell and a sister, Joanne.
John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dana Lee Heffington, his sons, John Daniel and Timothy Mark Heffington and a daughter, Joanna Watkins. One brother, William (Jerry) Heffington and a sister, Judy Lynn Moser. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Forest Park Cemetery. The family has chosen an Open Visitation during operating hours at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
